Today,
I don't want to tell about the stories and any kind of my thoughts, today I just want to tell today.
Walk up at the normal time, got ready, and check out the mobile, and what I saw, it's women's day today. what women's day, it is a normal day for me like another day. Means everywhere on T.V, on mobile 'Happy women's day..., Happy women's day....' Even those people are also writing on their status who normally teases the girls on roads, those men who fight day with his wife abuse her sometimes beat her, those fathers and brothers also who restrict her sister and daughter to do anything new, to think new, to go some new places alone. In short, they doubt her, Because of their fake reputation in society. Well, these things are normal in the Indian middle-class family. But the truth is that it's not only in India.
You know what, Being a girl is not as easy as other think. In reality, From our clothes to our every choice, it's not ours either. Even our grandmothers also advise us "You are a girl, you should do this..., you shouldn't do that...." because her mother teaches her like that. It has been going on for a long time. I also tell one more truth, in middle-class family love marriage is not allowed and even then if any girl want to marriage with her choice so we all know, What will happen, that girl will be expelled from the family forever. But...but...but..., if that girl marries with her family choice and after the marriage, that man beats her, torture
her then, that's okay. You know what, arrange marriage of a girl is also depend on her educational background. Wait, I explain it if a girl is well educated and has a nice job then she deserves a nice and handsome man who has heigh paid salary, And if a girl is less educated and doesn't have a job then she deserves an average man with an average salary. So, I'm in a confusion that we study for ourselves or get married to a Mr. nice. These were just small examples, But in reality, every girl has to face more than this.
And, I want to tell society that who the hell are to tell me that what should I do and what's shouldn't. It's my life and my choice, not yours
First of all Happy Women's day to all my sister's, Mother's and love ones. You wrote well in this blog. I liked, your presence of mind while writing this blog. You did well in observing the current situation of our society. In India, it's common to have an arrange marriage but somehow this tradition is going slowly. Although girls' should also have theirs own things and rules. They also have a life to live with a better half one. You opened my eyes when you said "if a girl is less educated and doesn't have a job then she deserves an average man with an average salary" that was the point which made me think serious about the mentality of the people.
ReplyDeleteWell we can't change it but can change one thing, that is our mindset.
All the best for the next blog 🙂
